My mother is the best teacher that I had in my early years of schooling. My mother was a teacher in my preschool, my reading tutor in elementary school and my home economics teacher and student counsel administrator in middle school. As a child my mother was always teaching me something and was always in my schools as a teacher sub or room mom. My mother taught me many things like patience , a love for teaching and how to handle difficult people
In preschool my mother was one of my teachers. She always had a lot of patience and helped everyone in my class and often did special projects with my class. She always showed patience even when I did not understand why my mother was not helping just me and paying more attention to other students. My mother was always trying to make sure that I understood that she had to make sure all the other student had equal opportunity and often has to repeat things to me over and over aging.Having my mother who worked at my school was always a plus she always was there if i forgot my lunch or if i needed something and was always there to offer support for my needs. my mother worked at my school so she got the same time off as as me and we would always be together when when not in school.
Reading was always a challenge for me. I never wanted to put the work in to learn to read and I never had teachers who were willing to help me. My mother took it upon herself to tutor me for an hour everyday after school on reading. She got the story books from her friend who was a teacher and every day we would read and work on comprehension. she did this all through my elementary school career witch lead to my love of reading that i still have to this day. She was always helping me and preparing me for my future. Her help inspired me to join jumpstart at URI so I could teach children to read just like my mom taught me.
My mother always had a special gift when she was teaching in middle school. She could always take the worst students and turn them into students who were on the right track. She always worked really hard to reach her hand out to the troubled students. Students who had problems with following rules and kids who if not for here would probably not have a positive experience in middle school. my mother always worked with kids who did drugs and had problems with athority she put specuial interest in theses challenging kids and often made sure they could enjoy there schooling. went out to she inspired me in middle school to become a teacher
My mother's patience makes her the most influential teacher I have had in my early schooling. My mothers patience and her help with my reading along with her love of the students that she teaches all lead up to her being the most influential teacher I ever had. She always was willing to help students and her love of teaching has lead me to choose my major in elementary education. Who is the most influential teacher that you ever had?
